Today in CONTAINER FOCUS we talk to Michael Nixon, project manager at Targetcraft Archers. Michael purchased a 
toilet accommodation unit from us.

Felicity: Thanks for agreeing to answer a few questions

Michael: That’s ok

Felicity: Can I ask what’s the name of your club or organisation?

Michael: It’s Target Craft Archers.

Felicity: What does that club do?

Michael: Basically we are an archery club, been established on our present site for just over 15 years but the club itself has been going for a lot longer than that.

Felicity: Oh ok, and is this your first time using containers?

Michael: No when we first moved up to the West Lodge site we did have a small container which we’ve still got, but because we’re trying to expand the club and we’re trying to get more people to come and join us, we needed to improve our facilities which meant we also needed to have a much bigger storage area.

Felicity: Ok and is that why you chose to use a
30ft container, for extra storage?

Michael: Yes it was, yeah.

Felicity: What made you come to lion containers for your order?

Michael: Well basically, when they asked me to be the project manager I did a lot of research into various container companies, quite a few actually. During that process we selected it down to three people, and you were one of them, Lion Containers were one of them, and from having got from, I think originally there were about eight or nine people we looked at, we got down to a shortlist of three. Then we decided, based on what the different companies could offer us, which one we would go with. One of the things that stood out during that process was Lion Container’s ability to respond and help us with what we wanted. Some of the containers would only give us a certain configuration and when we went back and asked them ”
well can we do this and can we do that” some of them were quite reluctant to want to change, whereas yourselves I think in the end you gave me about phew four or five variations on our original thoughts and design.

Felicity: And what was it that you ordered from us?

Michael: Basically we wanted a disabled
toilet facility and also a mens and ladies, but it became quite obvious that we couldn’t get that in the size of container that we had room for on site. So what we had to do then was try and compromise and and come up with the best result, and again that’s where Lion Containers helped us by saying ”
well look you could consider a disabled toilet which could double up as a ladies toilet, a female toilet, and then you could have two toilets in the other section which would work as a mens toilet depending on the demand of females and males on site at any particular competition”.

Felicity: Would you use Lion Containers again?

Michael: Yes definitely, we would definitely go out and quote to yourselves again because the service has been overall very good.
