Good Morning,
I have 500 Christmas trees to ship from the North Pole to the UK, for all of my winter wonderland grottos and I was wondering what I have to do in order to do this? I may have left this a bit too late, but at least I’ll know for next year.
Kind Regards, Santa
Good Morning Santa,
Unfortunately, it can take up to 23 days to deliver overseas, so it is a little too late to be ordering them now. To process this shipment, we would have to send some empty containers on a ferry to the North Pole. We would then arrange for the containers to be loaded with the trees and ferry them back to the UK. Since its the closest, they would most likely be ferried back to Scotland, and distribute them in our lorries from there.
I cant provide you with an accurate number of containers you would need without the size of your trees. We could send containers up to you now ready for distribution next year. You could even use those containers temporarily for storing your reindeer food or anything else you see fitting. If you are interested in purchasing these containers now in anticipation, please call the office or fill out an enquiry form on our website >>
Kind Regards, Jessica Archer
Hopefully that was able to answer his question, we also provide CSC Plates which are basically a container’s passport. For those of you who are unaware, the problem in Port of Tacoma was that there was a tremendous slowdown at the dock due to slow working. Many companies are still awaiting their containers to be dispatched form the Port due to the slowdown. Dont forget that we might have snow soon, whilst this is fun for building snowmen, it can delay a lot of our deliveries. Please make sure to get your order in soon to reduce the risk of any delays from the unforeseen. Remember, only 3 weeks until Christmas so make sure you tune into our website every week until then to find our exclusive deals and offers! |
