Shipping Container Tattoo Parlours
6/24/2015
My Dad is always banging on about tattoos and wanting his own place to do them, so I have decided to build him his very own tattoo parlour made from a shipping container. The idea would be take a
20ft new (once shipped) container and install a partitioned wall; creating two 10ft spaces. One area to be used as a waiting room, and the second area to be used as a tattooing area.
electrics as required. This unit would consist of 6 x bulkhead lights with one emergency light and switch, 2 x down flow
heaters and around 8 x 13amp twin sockets to allow for the equipment to be plugged in. Another great idea that we could include for this particular job is to actually supply and install a double glazed
window in the tattooing room this will allow people to look in and watch the client getting tattooed. I also understand not everyone will appreciate being watched so we will also supply the windows with an anti-vandal shutter for privacy.
I would also place some
shelving into the container as I feel this would be the perfect way to store all of my Dads equipment (needles, ink, tattoo guns and any other equipment). Shelving can be supplied bespoke to anyones requirement, whether you require completely galvanised shelving throughout that is absolutely no problem. Your wish is our command. I would also like to overlay the existing marine plywood flooring and replace with Polysafe 2.5mm non slip vinyl flooring. This is to ensure my Dad gets the very best tattoo parlour as I feel it will look very professional, I am pretty sure his clients will feel at home and comfortable when he is prodding them with a needle ha! My Dad would need to keep all the equipment clean and fresh, to ensure no equipment becomes contaminated and dirty. We will just simply supply and fit sink and kitchen unit which will come with anti-bacterial complacencies, ensuring all of the equipment used is correctly sterile and bacteria free.
This is just one of the many things shipping containers can be converting into, if you feel like you are lacking ideas then please check out our website and see the
latest great jobs we have completed.
