Perranporth
Container Case Study
Initially 8ft, 20ft and 40ft containers were required for a beach bar conversion, and were needed before the summer season began. We discussed positioning options with the customer, prepared some draft sketches, and it became apparent that two 20ft quality used A grade containers would suffice.
Below we detail their conversion specification:
Create aperture, box frame and Install standard insulated weatherproof Personnel Door (W 910mm x H 2065mm Including Frame – with 90 degree opening of 710mm). Personnel doors to be recessed, and have a 10 point locking system with 5 pin anti-drill Euro profile cylinder and full door furniture. Doors handles to be flush with container wall.
Blow in paintwork with self-priming specialised container paint.
Create aperture 3048mm x full height surround, with box section frame. Install 10ft wide, full height manual roller shutter to container wall as shown in drawing attached.
Re-enforce top container rail and sides to avoid bowing.
Blow in paintwork with self-priming specialised container paint.
Roller shutter head on top externally.
